CEREC®, or Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, offers advanced treatment options with less waiting time for a restoration. Advancements in materials and technology have provided many options for great restorations that can both look great, provide superior strength compared to other traditional restorations.
Using a digital scanner, our team can create a digital impression of the patient's teeth and gums without the use of traditional molds and trays, improving patient comfort. Then, the crown or other restoration is designed using advanced 3D computer technology that can analyze the interaction of the new restoration with your other teeth to ensure the best fit. Finally, a new crown can be milled out of a solid piece of tooth colored material that provides strength that may surpass that of many crowns produced in a dental lab.
